After having excited the American public with his show "We can not laugh at everything", French comedian Patrick Timsit returns to Los Angeles. This time, he presents "The Book of My Mother", directed by Dominique Pitoiset, which will be played in French on the stage of Theater Raymond Kabbaz Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Always corrosive, sometimes creaky, Patrick Timsit likes the situation comic. With this new show, adaptation of the work of Albert Cohen published in 1954, he changes his register. He is the only one on stage to play a song of mourning, that of a son who was bruised by the absence of his mother, expressing remorse, regret and gratitude. In a room furnished with a large desk that overlooks a projection screen, the comedian offers a sober interpretation, all emotion contained.
