The Lycée Français de New York (LFNY) is offering two pairs of tickets to attend "Ravel Transatlantique", a piano-percussion show on Thursday 3 October. To participate, simply fill out the form below.
On the bill: the pianist Hélène Tysman, Chopin specialist, and the ensemble "Les Percussions Claviers de Lyon", which includes five players xylophone, vibraphone and marimba (resonator xylophones used in Latin America). They will play pieces by Maurice Ravel composed for the North American tour of the composer in 1928. During this trip, he met George Gershwin. The program also includes the famous "Rhapsody in Blue" of the American composer.
