Pesticides used in Southern California residence proved deadly to 62-year-old man

A 62-year-old man lost his life in the Angelina city area of ​​Whittier as a result of a rare incident: intoxication while his house was fumigated.

Local media reports indicate that the man entered his home located in the 11500 block of See Drive Street Monday night. The property was covered by a tent after being fumigated, so it was full of pesticides.

An employee of the pest control company found the body Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The man was identified as Zbigniew Dembinsky, according to official information provided to ABC7.

The reason the man returned home prematurely is unknown, but authorities believe it is an accident.
