On Saturday afternoon, thousands of protesters marched through the streets of the Fairfax district of Los Angeles to express outrage at the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis due to police violence, and there was a massive response from police officers. The rally originated as an event organized in Pan Pacific Park, which drew a large crowd that eventually spread through the nearby streets.

Protesters headed west on Third Street before meeting at the Fairfax Avenue intersection.

Initially, traffic got tangled up before the crowded streets finally closed.
