The driver of an Uber was sentenced for raping a woman in the Hollywood area.

A Uber driver It was sentenced this Wednesday to happen 6 years in jail state for raping a woman in North hollywood, the authorities of The Angels.
The judge of the Superior Court Craig richman also ordered that Alaric Spence, the sentenced driver of 49 years old, stay signed how sex offender for the rest of his life, and issued a restraining order for what do not approach the victim for at least the next decade.
The incident happened two and a half years agowhen Spence he picked up a woman in his Uber he saw while drunk in downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) in June 2017. Then he took her to a motel from North Hollywood motel, where he raped her. When the woman woke up and could react, she called the police. Spence has been working as an Uber driver for 6 months, and was arrested a day after the attack.
"I have tried to process what happened to my body over time," the victim wrote in a statement that was read in court by a police officer. Police Department (LAPD). "I forgive you just to be able to continue with my life."
The defendant said that he had been falsely accused and that he "no longer believed in justice."
