The film "The Little Spirou" screened in San Francisco

Did you like the comic book adventures of the little guy with the groom's clothes? You will love them in film.

The screening of the film "Le Petit Spirou", released in 2017 and adapted from the Belgian comic strip created in 1938, will take place on Friday, November 15 at the Theater of the French School of San Francisco (TLF),n presence of the director Nicolas Bary. The screening will be followed by a question and answer session.

When the mother of Petit Spirou (Natacha Régnier) announces that he will integrate the grooms school at the beginning of the next school year, Petit Spirou (Sacha Pinault), with the help of his friends, will take advantage of his last days of class to declare his love to Suzette.

You will also find Pierre Richard in the role of Grand Papy, François Damiens en Désiré Mégot, Philippe Katerine in Abbé Langélusse, and Gwendolyn Gourvenec who plays Miss Claudia Chiffre.

This screening will take place a little over a month after the death of the Belgian screenwriter Philippe Tome, the co-creator of Petit Spirou, at the age of 62 years. The film will be screened in French and subtitled in English.
