Victim of its success, the exhibition "Dior: From Paris to the world" is extended until Sunday 27 October. Visible since May at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA), it presents 200 dresses from the Dior house from the very first designed by the stylist to the latest imagined by the current artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Very complete, the exhibition allows visitors to understand the impact that had and still has the house Christian Dior on the world of fashion. It also includes works by the artistic directors who succeeded Christian Dior like Yves Saint-Laurent, Marc Bohan or John Galliano. Visitors will also be able to wander through the accessories, photographs, sketches and archival images of the last 70 years. For a more in-depth visit, the Dallas Museum of Art offers guided group tours when the museum is closed to the public.
