The company of Benjamin Millepied organizes its festival L.A. Dances

Celebrating the Future of Dance: This is the goal of the LA Dances festival, which will be performed in L.A. Dance Project's studio in Los Angeles from September 26 to October 25 and from November 14 to 24.

The company will interpret Abraham's Chapter Chapter. More than that, this eclectic project will bring together choreographers such as Charm La'Donna, Madeline Hollander, dancer Janie Taylor, pioneer of modern dance Bella Lewitzky and French choreographer "Black Swan" Benjamin Millepied.

Created in 2012, the L.A. Dance project made its local debut at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Since then, the company has performed at Sadler's Wells Theater in London, Joyce Theater in New York, and Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. In parallel, Benjamin Millepied is working on his first feature film, "Carmen". Taking a classic opera from 1875, the film tells the story of a young woman leaving Mexico for Los Angeles. In 2020, he will create in France an experimental production of "Romeo and Juliet" on the famous score of Prokofiev, mixing dance and videos.
