In an industry undergoing upheaval, he appears to be “wise”. Marc Rochet, president of the French Bee company, which launches a new Paris-New York line in June, is the guest of the next French Morning conference, for an interview, in public, with Emmanuel Saint-Martin, on January 30 .
Despite the bankruptcies of XL Airways, but also of Wow or Primera Air, or the difficulties of Norwegian, Marc Rochet believes hard in low-cost long haul. He will tell us why and how this model can succeed with French Bee, which he describes as “the only low cost long-haul company in France”. He will also tell us about Air Caraïbes, one of the rare successes of the sector in France in recent years, the company he also manages. Air Caraïbes and French Bee both belong to the family group Dubreuil, another UFO in the aviation world.
Before French Bee and Air Caraïbes, Marc Rochet led several French companies (AOM, Travel Price) and in 2006 co-founded L’Avion, a 100% business class company.
