City residents can enroll in the emergency program to receive healthy food supplies prepared and delivered to their home
The program allows restaurants, hotels and other companies in the food sector to prepare and deliver supplies.

The Food Emergency Response Program for Seniors is part of the city's initiatives to care for and protect older adults that they must stay at home by the order "Safer at home" to avoid contracting the disease of the coronavirus.
The initiative allows city residents of Los Angeles over 65 receive nutritious and healthy food delivered to your home at no cost.
"3,000 adults have enrolled in the free food program"Said the mayor Eric Garcetti in a post on Twitter.

Adults interested in the free food program They should call 213-263-5226 at 9:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m. or fill out an online form here.
The program provides helps needy older adults and restaurant and hotel chains that are responsible for preparing food following the nutritional and packaging guidelines established by the mayor's office.
