French artists help young people in difficulty and organize the second edition of the Together We Art contemporary art fair for the benefit of the LP4Y association November 21 at the Beekman Reim Building.

Created by entrepreneurs Jean-Marc and Laure Delaporte, l'Association LP4Y, which celebrates its 10 years this year, is fighting for the social and professional integration of young people living in a situation of extreme poverty. The field of action of the association, mainly in Asia until then, widens this year with the opening of new centers around the Mediterranean basin (Lebanon and Egypt) and the creation of two training centers, one in Paris and the other in New York.

On the day's program, a discussion on the foundry technique by Anne de Villeméjane (11:30 am), a live painting by Carole Jury (12:30 pm) and a discussion on art and multimedia or how to animate a canvas by Lenaic Mercier (5 pm). All three are French artists resident in New York.

Eight other French artists, painters, sculptors and photographers will be present to present their work: Laurence Belotti, Gaelle Hintzy Marcel, Béatrice Drouhin, Luis Da Cruz, Christine Galvez, Pascale Roux de Bézieux, Louise Laffaille and Lawrence Schiller.

Last year, the event gathered 350 people and the 40 works sold enabled the funding of a new LP4Y center.

The theme of the 2019 campaign, Bold, inspired the artists whose 125 works will be sold for the benefit of LP4Y to finance two new centers of life projects.
