Three French films at the Animation is Film festival in Los Angeles

The French know-how in animation will, once is not custom, be on the front of the stage. The third edition of Animation Is Film will feature feature-length feature films from Asia, Europe, South America and North America, awarded by a jury and the public, on Friday 18 on Sunday October 20th at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

This year, three tricolor films have been selected. "I Lost My Body", by Jérémy Clapin (who will be present at the screening), will be the closing film of the festival, Sunday, October 20 at 7:30 pm. Presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2019, the film follows a trenched hand that seeks to find his body in Paris. During her arduous journey, she remembers all her life together with him until she met Gabrielle.

Another film presented: "Marona's Fantastic Tale" by Anca Damian, screened on Saturday, October 19 at 1:30 pm, offers a drama in an ultra colorful universe. A dog, victim of an accident, will remember the different masters she loved throughout her life. At 7:30 pm the same day, place at "The Swallows of Kabul" by Zabau Breitman and Elea Gobbe-Mellevec. The film plunges us into a Taliban-occupied Kabul in the summer of 1998. The viewer will follow the love story of Mohsen and Zunaira who, despite everyday violence, want to believe in the future.
