Researchers are in search of a man who allegedly caused a fire in downtown Los Angeles last week. The damage caused is estimated to exceed $ 3 million.

The fire began shortly before 2 pm last Thursday in the building located at 1425 San Pedro Street, on Pico Boulevard, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

"The fire did not cause any injury, but it did cause property damage worth $ 3 million," according to the Fire Department. “The Los Angeles Fire Department investigators and the Terrorist Section investigators responded to the scene and determined that the fire was intentionally caused“Said in a statement.

On Wednesday, authorities posted a video in which the suspect is seen causing the fire.

Thanks to these images, the authorities are in search of the suspect and hope to capture him.
