The magic of the famous Festival of Lights of Lyon arrives at a small dose in Houston. Until February 24, Discovery Green's urban park hosts the Paloma open-air exhibition, created by David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud of the Pitaya Light Creations studio, who have become known for their spectacular creations presented at the festival. Lyon since 2006.

The two creators present a spectacular painting composed of 200 "origami" aluminum birds, powder coated, which come to rest in the old trees of the park. These colorful and hanging sculptures are illuminated by LED lights after sunset to create the illusion of a night flight. David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud, the two artists, designed this work inspired by the migrations of birds. This work is highlighted by a sound installation by Houston-based artist Lina Dib, whose choreographed sounds dance along the Brown Promenade, leaving visitors in an immersive and contemplative experience in the land of the imaginary.
