He is one of the masters of today's gypsy jazz, celebrated for the richness of his playing. The guitarist Stéphane Wrembel presents "Django the Impressionist" at the FIAF on Thursday, November 21 at 7:30 pm, a tribute to gypsy master, Django Reihnardt.
The concert marks the launch of the album of the same name, which celebrates a lesser known Django Reihnardt, with Wrembel as a celebration of gypsy legend Django Reinhardt with 17 meditative solos, inspired by Ravel and Debussy.
A signing session of the album, on sale on the spot, is planned at the end of the concert.
