Sixth edition for the White Dinner in Washington

Fans of Washington's White Dinner now have a date to put on their calendar. The famous ephemeral meal will be held Saturday, August 24 at 6pm in a secret location until the last moment.

The golden rule? To be dressed in white and in an elegant and creative way. Some traditions specific to the French event will be respected as shaking his towel to announce the beginning of the meal and light glittering candles to conclude.

Last year, 5,000 people participated in the event. Registration for this sixth edition will begin next month. Guests who participated in the event in previous years and their friends and those who are on the waiting list will be invited. The guests will work a little too: they must come with their tables, chairs and decorations, all in white of course. It is possible to rent your own chairs and tables to avoid breaking your head. Founded in France, the White Dinner is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
