Police kill a woman by attending call for domestic violence in Torrance

Torrance Police killed a woman in response to an emergency for domestic violence.

The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. in the home of Yukon Avenue and 182 West Street. According to the information, the agents were called to the scene because there was a woman armed with a knife that broke things inside the house.

The woman was shot by the agents shortly after their arrival. She was transferred to a hospital in the area where she was pronounced dead.

There are no details of the motive that led the police to shoot. No injuries were reported..

Detectives have questioned people who were in the house at the time of the shooting. According to the LA Times, it is not clear if the woman lived in the residence.
