The coronavirus pandemic continues to add casualties and keep health specialists busy with more than 28,000 cases in the county.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health updated the figures of the pandemic of the coronavirus raising the death toll in L.A. to 1,367 people, adding up 55 in the last 24 hours.

In statements issued at noon today by the Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of the department, were also confirmed 851 new cases for a total of 28,644 county coronavirus infections.

The number represents almost half of the cases of the entire state of California, what's wrong with it 58,815 cases.

According to statements by the Dr. Ferrer, the Department of Public Health analyzed the data from 1,200 deceased and classified by ethnic group and this revealed that 36% of deaths are in the Latino community.

The authorities of the Department of Public Health have given green light for the start of some commercial activities since next May 8 and have set the county's recovery route.
