Today is National Nurses Day and several public agencies paid tribute at Cedars Sinai Hospital in West Los Angeles

Various videos captured by local media from helicopters show at least 50 units between patrols, ambulances and fire trucks paying tribute and showing their appreciation to the nurses for the National Nurses Day.

The celebration is given every May 6 of each year since 1982 to highlight the important role that nurses have in society. Today in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic that crosses the los angeles county, the tribute felt more emotional.

The emotional show of support was held in the neighborhood of West hollywood just outside the hospital Cedars Sinai minutes ago and had the participation of various public agencies such as the fire departments, the police and the sheriff.

The latest data shared by the Los Angeles Department of Public Health last week they confirmed almost 3,000 cases of coronavirus in health personnel.
