Mathieu Tazo will present his third novel On behalf of fathers Saturday, September 14 at the Albertine bookstore. The author will answer the questions of Maurin Picard, journalist and author of several books on American history and the Second World War.

Fruit of four years of work, On behalf of fathers is a historical account that takes place in November 1942 in Marseille and Toulon, where the author grew up. It traces the friendship between three young French resistance fighters under the Occupation, and goes back in time to their fathers, soldiers of the First World War, to weave the filiation of hatreds and Franco-German friendships.

The author ofOn behalf of fathers had several lives before entering the circle of writers. Footballer until the age of 18 in Provence, he then goes to Paris where he follows his first writing workshop, before living in London. He moved to New York seven years ago, where he works in the bank.

Copies of the novel will be available for purchase and signature.
