The flower workshop

On May 30, the author of children’s books Hervé Tullet will host a giant “flower workshop” on Facebook. The event, organized by the French Embassy and La Petite École NYC, aims to create together (but at home) a great collective work. The first interactive workshop in April brought together over 2,500 people and brought together families from Iran, France and even Australia.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. in New York (5:30 p.m. in France). It will be available immediately after on the Bayam app, intended for children up to 12 years old. After this creative and fun escape, Hervé Tullet will encourage participants to hang their creations on the windows, thus adding joy and color to the world.

To participate, all you need to do is bring paper, markers or paint:

The Giant Flowers workshop is inspired by Tullet’s conviction that artistic creation must be an accessible, fun and lively activity. This moment of creation will complement the other initiatives of the moment around the universe of Hervé Tullet: his web series Boredomdomdom designed specially for this current period of confinement and available on Bayam, as well as the Ideal Exhibition at home which inspires workshops of La Petite Ecole New York.
