Gypsy Violins in Cannes on stage in Washington

The young French musicians from the Gypsy Violins band in Cannes will perform for the first time in the United States at the French House of the French Embassy in Washington DC on Wednesday, October 30th.

From Budapest to Toronto, the non-profit organization created in 1989 by Jean-Jacques Calvi, conductor of the group and professor at the Conservatoire de Cannes, travels the world to promote gypsy music.

On the program: a concert "gypsy" led by the fifteen musicians, the youngest is 13 years old. A question and answer session with the artists.
