A measles outbreak was detected in The Angels, after they were confirmed 5 people with the disease, they warned this Wednesday health authorities County. The Department of Public Health Los Angeles reported that four people living in the area contracted the disease, and were infected by a visitor who had never been vaccinated.

Officials explained that the disease was later detected in the other four people. They also shared a list of the places they probably were while they were in the contagious stage of the disease. Almost all of those points are about restaurants or shops in the west of the city.
In 2019, there were 34 cases of total measles in Los Angeles: 20 local and 14 other visitors. Most of the patients were not vaccinated, so if you are not, and you were close to the area, we recommend you visit your doctor.
Measles is highly contagious and potentially severe; The symptoms are fever, skin irritation, cough and watery red eyes. In addition, measles travels very easily by air and by direct contact with someone who is sick.
