An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded tonight in Los Angeles, California.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded the movement at 11:41 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21.

The epicenter was in Granada Hills, 25 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, at a depth of 4 miles or 7 kilometers, in an area of ​​minor underground cracks, about 40 miles southwest of where it runs from the San fault Andrew.

The tremor is considered of moderate magnitude and no damage is reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that the state of emergency was triggered by seismic activity according to the protocols.
