The city of Manhattan Beach, California would be the third city in the los angeles county in establishing an order that allows the Police to fine residents who do not wear masks when they are in public.
The new rule occurs in the middle of a week with an alarming increase in the finding of new cases, confirming more than 4,000 in one day, in addition to a record in the number of hospitalized due to illness.

“If we don’t take these steps, Governor Gavin Newsom could expand business closings and close our beaches again.”, States in a statement from the mayor Richard Montgomery.
With a 4 to 1 vote Manhattan Beach City Council approved that fines of $ 100 to people who don’t cover their face when they are in public. If the person recurs then they would pay $ 200 and the third time it would be $ 350.
