Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue is on French time. The church of Midtown organizes two organ recitals in connection with French musicians.

The first will take place on Saturday, October 19th, 3pm. On display: Christophe Mantoux, current titular organist of the Saint-Séverin church in the Latin Quarter of Paris. Winner of the Grand Prix of Interpretation of the international competition of the Great Organs of Chartres, he will play works signed by French composers of the nineteenth and twentieth century, including César Franck, Maurice Duruflé and Oliver Messiaen.

For the second, it will be necessary to wait until March 14, 2020. The American Joy-Leilani Garbutt will play, she, works of different French composers of the early twentieth century as Jeanne Demessieux, Claude Arrieu, Elsa Barraine and Nadia Boulanger, discovered while she was working on her research project as part of the prestigious Fulbright program.
