The aircraft was headed to Los Angeles, but had to return to New Jersey, from where it departed

A United Airlines plane which was addressed to The Angels was forced to perform a emergency landing Wednesday night, after his engine suffered problems. Reportedly, the engine of one of the wings burst into flame.

The aircraft of flight 1871 departed from International Airport of Newark, near NY, around 9:30 p.m. Remained in the air just a few minutes, when he had to return to the same airport to fix the mechanical issue. It was a Boeing 757 and wore 168 passengers on board.

Passengers were evacuated and relocated on another flight, which landed in Los Angeles at 5:30 in the morning of the next day.

No injuries were reported..
