They steal with weapons in 4 7-Eleven stores in the San Fernando Valley

Armed robberies were reported in four 7-Eleven stores in San Fernando Valley within two hours of Friday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

In each case, two people dressed in black or with masks entered and pointed guns at the employees, according to police.

It is not clear if the thefts are connected or if the same people were in the different stores, according to KTLA.

Police said the suspects in three of the robberies were described as men and were teenagers or very young. One of the robberies involved a woman, according to LAPD.

Nevertheless, Police later said that at least one of the robberies involved two suspects.

The first robbery It was reported at 12:45 a.m. in a 7-Eleven store in the 17200 block of Vanowen Street in Van Nuys. The thieves escaped with an unknown amount of cash in a coal-colored Prius, police said.

About half an hour later, another robbery was reported at the store at 8707 Corbin Avenue in Northridge, where two men with a semi-automatic weapon escaped on foot with money and items from the store, according to LAPD.

The store surveillance video It shows two hooded men entering and demanding that the employee open the cash registers. Both had scarves covering their faces. "Open them," says one of the men before pulling out a gun.

Then he leans over the counter and takes a handful of cash from the cash register and the two leave the store.

Other incident It continued at 1:30 a.m. in a store at 20871 Lassen Street in Chatsworth, where two men in black masks tried to rob the store, but left empty-handed, police said.

The last robbery It took place at approximately 2 a.m. at 16159 Devonshire Street in Granada Hills where two women with black masks entered with a semi-automatic pistol. It is believed that one of the women was between 25 and 30 years old and had a cast on her left arm, according to LAPD.

Police said earlier that the last robbery involved a man and a woman, before changing the description of the suspect to two women.
