A century of life fulfilled the world-renowned Los Angeles Philharmonic. And as expected, a great celebration was held to commemorate such a special date.

The Philharmonic, along with Gustavo Dudamel, its musical and artistic director, celebrated the 100 years of existence of the orchestra in a historic Centennial Celebration, which took place last Thursday at 7 pm at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, located in downtown Los Angeles.

The event, which was held on the same day that the orchestra offered its first concert 100 years ago, It had its three directors alive, Dudamel, the Emeritus Driver Zubin Mehta and the Honorary Driver Esa-Pekka Salonen. Together, they conducted the orchestra to the delight of all spectators.

"It's an infinite pride," Dudamel said. “100 years is 100 years and it is something very special. And what has been prepared for this occasion honors everything that is the history of this wonderful family, ”he concluded.
