The structure located in the east of the city was consumed by flames since the early hours of this Wednesday
A five-story real estate project that was under development in East Los Angeles woke up this Wednesday on fire and the City Fire Department worked to control it.
The building under construction is on Rowan Avenue with a junction with 1st Street and was seen as an affordable housing development for military veterans.

At least 150 firefighters participated in extinguishing the flames that arose around 4:30 am
According to information released by CBS, the building was three months away from completing its work after 18 months of construction.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
