The Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department will be delivering meals every noon Tuesday through Friday
From June 16 through August 7, children and teens ages 18 and under will receive free meals and snacks at 49 Los Angeles County parks.
The Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department created the “Free meal and snack program”That will work from Tuesday to Friday from 12:30 p.m. at 1:30 p.m.
The program that will deliver nutritional meals to young people seeks to provide access to healthy food while schools are closed during the summer season.
Deliveries will be made following social distancing protocols.

Long beach
For his part, the Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marinawill have the Summer Food Program effective from today June 15 to August 21, 2020.
