If you want to be invaded by the spirit of Christmas, discover the choirs of the city of angels. One particularly stands out, the Gay Men Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) which will perform on the stage of the Alex Theater at Glendale on Saturday December 21 (at 2 and 8pm) and Sunday December 22 (at 2pm). Under the artistic direction of Jenny Wong, they will celebrate the 40th anniversary of this association by taking songs from the film "Love Actually", "broadway bonanza" or hits like "All I want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey.
Rich with some 250 members, the group of gay singers founded in July 1979 has established its reputation around the world, making its Christmas spectacle a much awaited moment. Considered the oldest LGBTQ organization in the city, the GMCLA started with a concert called "Songs of Pride and Joy". Since then, he has released a dozen discs, and has distinguished himself by appearing in television series such as "Will and Grace" and "Six Feet Under".
