Francosonic: French contemporary music honored in Houston

The works of five contemporary French composers will be honored in Houston. On Friday, October 18th, the hit musical ensemble Musiqa will present "Francosonic" at Midtown Arts & Theater Center.

On the program: works by Raphaèle Biston (the world premiere of "Repercussions", commissioned by Musiqa), composer of the year at Victoires de la musique classique 2019 Guillaume Connesson ("Songs of Agartha"), Marc-André Dalvabie ("Palimpsest"), Betsy Jolas ("Trio sopra" and sola facta '") and Luis Naon (" Alto Voltango "). A light-sound installation proposed by the French artist of Houston Olivier Modr will be visible during the concert.
