The high mass of French cinema returns to Miami. France Cinema Florida returns to its quarters at Tower Theater in Little Havana where no less than seven French productions, including five comedies, will be screened from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd November.

The fourteenth edition of this film event that showcases the films that made France famous will open with "Le Dindon" (Friday, November 1 at 7:10 pm), an adaptation of the eponymous play of Georges Feydeau. To give life on the big screen to this classic boulevard theater, the director Jalil Lespert called actors Dany Boon and Guillaume Gallienne. "This film sets the tone and color of the festival "says French producer Patrick Gimenez.

In this program that gives pride of place to French comedies is added "Beaux-parents" (Saturday, November 2 at 5pm) a family vaudeville in which Josiane Balasko and Didier Bourdon, gathered for the first time on the screen, are trying to save the couple of their daughter. Christian Clavier, meanwhile, takes the lead role of the film "Ibiza" (Sunday, November 3 at 3pm) alongside Mathilde Seigner. The actor of the Splendid troupe also appears on the poster for "What have we done to God yet? "(Sunday, November 3 at 4:45 pm) which sign the return of the Verneuil family in full force. " The first opus had sold out in Miami, remembers Patrick Gimenez. It is therefore natural that I propose the following to my audience. With currently nearly seven million tickets, it's also a safe bet ".

And to satisfy all tastes, the dark polar "Persona non grata" (Saturday, November 2 at 3pm) of director Roschdy Zem, in which he plays alongside Nicolas Duvauchelle, will also be screened. Lovers of French seventh art can also discover the dramatic film "In the name of the earth" (Saturday, November 2 at 6:40 pm) which describes the distress of a farmer embodied by Guillaume Canet. " It's a real favorite that moved me a lot, I even came out of the room with tears in my eyes, says Patrick Gimenez. Guillaume Canet breaks the screen and I'm sure he's on his way to the Caesar ".

The ending clap will be given with "The Truth if I lie! The beginnings "(Sunday, November 3 at 7:10 pm) which tells the origins of the comic trilogy started on the big screen in 1997." The cast was renewed but the writers remained the same so we inevitably find many gags that are still as much laughter, says Patrick Gimenez. It is also very nice to go back to the heart of the 1980s and remember his youth ".
