A woman is in critical condition after being run over while crossing the street with her husband in Santa Ana on Sunday. The driver escaped from the scene.
Santa Ana police said the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near Fairview Street, between Trask Avenue and Garden Grove.
The woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Her husband was not injured in the accident.
There are no details of the vehicle or the suspect yet, but the police are investigating the case.
