Agnès Varda and California, it's a beautiful love story. The filmmaker has often used the Golden State sets in her films. The California Film Institute in San Rafael will screen three on Sunday, September 22nd and 29th.
On the 22nd, two short films will be presented: "Black Panthers", a unique immersion in the black movement that was born in Oakland, and "Uncle Yanko", where she retraces the life of immigrant of a member of her family she has never met and lived in San Francisco Bay.
On the 29th, it will be the turn of "The one sings, the other not", the feature film of the realization about the relations between two friends who take different life trajectories.
