A subject was captured by security cameras throwing an object out of Hawthorne Police Department. Soon after, a patrol that was stationed very close to the individual set on fire. The fire was controlled by firefighters, who responded to the report.
The subject, in name Elmer Maldonado, was stopped as suspect. The patrol is reported as total loss. No injuries are reported.
