Four people were injured after a man shot a group outside a party in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning, The authorities said.

A party that took place at 833 S. Spring Street ended with a large crowd gathered outside when a fight broke out around midnight, said Kristen Krikke, an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

A man then fired a dozen shots at the crowd, injuring four people, according to Krikke. Three were hit by bullets and the fourth was hit by a fragment of bullet.

The condition of the victims was unknown on Saturday morning.

The shooter was only described as a man who was believed to be in his 20s. It is not yet known if someone was arrested in connection with the shooting.
