On July 4, the Americans commemorate the signing of the 1776 Declaration of Independence. An overview of Independence Day festivities in Miami and area.

Tradition requires, the 4th of July will be marked by the mythical Fourth of July parade of Key Biscayne. This sixtieth edition will begin at 11am on Crandon Boulevard, from Harbor Drive to Westwood Drive. A wind of patriotism will blow on Downtown Miami where, as every year, Bayfront Park and Bayside Market team up to host the traditional America's Birthday Bash. The festivities will begin at 10am with outdoor concerts, food trucks, a beer garden and a playground for children with makeup workshops and balloon sculpture. The day will start in a family atmosphere in Coconut Grove where a picnic is organized at The Barnacle Historic State from 11am to 4pm. Entertainment will continue at Regatta Park with the help of the largest hot dog eater at 8pm. AT Miami Beachyou can unwind your yoga mat as early as 9am for a free session on the beach to start the day in shape. On Ocean Drive at South BeachMany activities will also be offered for the whole family. A free concert by the Miami Classical Music Festival Orchestra will perform various patriotic tunes, including John Philip Sousa's "The Stars and Stripes Forever" from 8:30 pm. Finally to Coral GablesIndependence Day will be celebrated with great fanfare at The Biltmore Hotel from 5pm including a free concert.
