The fireworks show at Dodgers Stadium. /MDB.com

Who says Independence Day, says fireworks. In Los Angeles, pyrotechnic shows will not be missed. Overview of options at all prices.

The Rose Bowl Stadium (1001 Dr. Rose Bowl, Pasadena) will be in the colors of the American flag for the Americafest ($ 15 per ticket). The venue will open at 2pm, but fires will be fired around 9pm. If you want to avoid paying, you can still see it on the Arroyo side, at the Colorado Street Bridge (yes, the "La La land" bridge) or from the Sam Merrill Trail (more than 5 miles, think of the frontal).

Another option is the Fourth of July party at Hollywood Bowl (2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, starting at $ 14 entrance), where there will be funk and disco (with Nile Rodgers and CHIC) on the program. The festivities will begin at 7:30 pm.

For a sportier atmosphere, opt for the Dodgers Stadium (1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, tickets starting at $ 29). After encouraging the Los Angeles team, who will face the San Diego Padres as early as 6:10 pm, a firework will be fired for an explosion of colors. If the game does not tempt you, you can still enjoy the pyrotechnic show well installed in Elysian Park (929 Academy Road, Los Angeles).

The show will also be worth seeing on the Queen Mary (1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, tickets starting at $ 29) hosting a family party. You can enjoy concerts, games, and even a boat tour before looking up to the sky to say "wow".

Downtown, we can see the fireworks (shot at 9 pm) from the Grand Park Block Party (200 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, free). From 3 pm, you can enjoy the forty food trucks on site and concerts. The shot will also be within sight, more quiet, from the Vista Hermosa Natural Park (100 N Toluca St, Los Angeles).

AT Park Exhibition (700 Park Drive, Los Angeles, free), a festival and a giant picnic are organized from 11 am to 10pm. After enjoying concerts, international dishes and activities for children (climbing, bouncy castle, etc.), place to serious things (and especially bright) at 9pm.

The show also looks great at Pacific Palisades (Palisades Charter High School, 15777 Bowdoin St, Pacific Palisades, starting at $ 10) where you can enjoy a very patriotic Independence Day, from 2pm. On the program: a jump of paratroopers, a parade, a concert and the fireworks.

Others will prefer Marina Del Rey, where a crowd of curious is expected on the beach to see the show from 9pm, as well as the Burton Chace Park (136 Mindanao Way, Los Angeles). Tip: arrive early to find a parking space.
