A young resident of the city Sierra Madre at Los Angeles County, California She was attacked by a wild bear in the backyard of her home.

The 19-year-old woman who had fallen asleep, she woke up when she heard the bear's roars and saw that the animal was approaching her to attack her. The young woman managed to escape the attack by hitting the bear with her laptop.

Patrick Foyspokesman for California Department of Fish and WildlifeHe claimed that the victim was scratched and bitten on the leg. "This bear was unprovoked, no one threatened his cubs or lured him with food. This person was asleep when inadvertently attacked by the animal", he claimed.

According to the residents of the area, it is very common to see these wild animals near the residences.

On tuesday night, the department captured two bears near the area and was seeking to determine through blood tests whether one of them had carried out the attack, if positive, the bear would be euthanized.

The last time a bear attack on a person had been recorded in California, It was in April 2019 when a homeless man was attacked while sleeping in a camp.
