The Los Angeles County Fair canceled this year's edition that would take place September 4 to 27. It is the second time, in the almost 100-year history of the event, that there will be no ferris wheel or great concerts on stage.

"We have made the necessary and difficult decision to cancel the 2020 edition of the Fair", said Miguel Santana, President of Fariplex, the organization in charge of producing the event.

The annual event receives more than a million visitors and leaves an economic impact of $ 324 million annually to the county.

"We make the decision knowing the great economic impact it will have on our staff and hundreds of suppliers, artists and entrepreneurs.Santana added.
