“Being locked up can also lead to beautiful moments, as a family, to benefit from each other”. A photographer based in Los Altos, Silicon Valley, Maud Daujean has been photographing a family for several weeks a day and then posting the result on Facebook and Instagram, along with a sentence chosen by the family.

The purpose of this project is to ” document the ordinary life of families in a unique and historical contextSays the photographer. Obviously, it is not a question of entering the houses, nor of approaching the subjects. “I stay at 10 feet minimum to be sure there is no risk ”. Each family, previously contacted by social media is therefore on the porch of her house and chooses how she wishes to pose.

The project started between neighbors, but seeing that the concept pleased, Maud Daujean decided to “to experience with other families. They can express what they want through the photo, it makes for a fun activity and families can keep track of this period.
