Torrance Police investigate the facts and work to identify the perpetrators of the hate crime committed last Wednesday
The night of last Wednesday July 22 uAn African American couple of Torrance, California suffered a racist attack by another pair of white supremacists at a traffic light in the city located south of Los Angeles.
A woman and her partner got out of their pickup truck at a stoplight and confronted the woman who recorded the video and her boyfriend. “White Lives Matter (insult). Only White Lives Matter“ the white woman yelled at him near the co-pilot’s window in a clear reference to the Black Lives Matter racial justice movement, which has been very active recently.

On the other side, your partner I made a Nazi gesture the driver challenging him to get out of the car. The traffic that was at the traffic light prevented the couple from fleeing the place, but both kept calm, did not confront them and waited for the green light to avoid it and move on.
In doing so the man of Nazi trend hit the car with a blunt object that he just got out of his truck. It is unknown if there was any confrontation prior to recording the video.
This morning we were made aware of the video that has been circulating on social media regarding a crime that occurred within the City of Torrance. The victim has been contacted and detectives are actively investigating this incident.

Other attacks
A few weeks ago a woman who is also a resident of Torrance went viral after confronting at least two people of Asian origin in a park.
Additionally, another racist attack was recorded this week against an African American Postmates worker in the Westwood area of Los Angeles.
