Anayeli Domínguez Peña, 25, is linked to the investigation of a series of racist episodes at the University of La Verne, an institution located in the Los Angeles County.

"The investigation concluded that the suspect acted alone and that no other member of the student group was involved in the criminal acts," La Verne Police said in a statement.

Most of the alleged threats were text messages and emails. University authorities received a report on a backpack emitting smoke inside a vehicle. Domínguez Peña would have used the image of a fraternity, but the police found no evidence of criminal action by group members.
