Last Friday, May 9, Marisela Cueva 55 years old and her daughter Maria 32 years were beaten and robbed when they sold flower arrangements for him Mother's day in the south of The Angels.

Marisela and her daughter had made a small investment to buy merchandise and sell it on the eve of the celebration of May 10 to cover their rent and food expenses since their income has been affected by the pandemic.

The two women were selling the merchandise on the corner of the Vermont and Imperial Highway when they were approached by three African American women in a vehicle.

The alleged clients They stopped nearby and pretended to be interested in the products, but suddenly two of them got out of the vehicle and tried to take Maria's purse with the money. While they were doing it, they beat her hard and tried to put her in the car.

Her mother ran to help her but the third passenger he got out of the vehicle and also brutally beat Marisela to the ground.

Marisela was even trampled on the ground; meanwhile his daughter Maria lost an incisor tooth. The attackers they took the money and part of the family merchandise.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is carrying out the investigations, meanwhile, another daughter of Marisela created a campaign in GoFundMe to raise funds to help the family.
