The virus does not stop and the county's reopening plans continue despite the number has passed 36,000 cases.

The Los Angeles Department of Public Health issued a balance sheet with the disease numbers of coronavirus reporting more infections and more deaths while restrictions are being lifted.

Dra. Barbara Ferrer, director of the department, confirmed the death of 47 other people in the last 24 hours for a total of 1,755 deaths in the county for respiratory illness.

The department also confirmed the spread of other 962 people for a total of 36,259 coronavirus cases since the first detected case.

"Many more people will be out of their homes now that the restrictions are loosening, increasing the chance that the disease will spread faster”Ferrer stated regarding the reopening of beaches and parks and other commercial businesses.

County health system is currently serving 1,733 infected people with the disease.

So far more than 282,000 virus detection tests.
