The Department of Public Health updated the data regarding the respiratory disease that has claimed the lives of more than 1,000 people in L.A.

At a press conference the authorities of the Los Angeles Department of Public Health announced that the county has 22,485 cases and 1,056 deaths by coronavirus Until now.
In the last 48 hours the health department has confirmed more than 2,000 new positive cases and reported that from yesterday to today 56 more deaths were registered by COVID-19.
There are currently a total of 1,940 hospitalized patients and of whom 28% are in intensive care and 17% of them are connected to an artificial respirator.

Health authorities cconfirmed the death of a homeless person due to illness. Until now 164 homeless have been infected, most of them would be inside a shelter.
More than 139,000 virus detection tests according to the health department.
