The doors of the St. Vincent hospital in Los Angeles reopen

Temporarily the St. Vincent hospital located in the district of Westlake in The Angels will reopen its doors to treat patients of coronavirus.

The hospital closed after filing for bankruptcy a few months ago. However the been rented facilities and have been temporarily opened only to treat COVID-19 patients.

Patients will come to the medical center referrals from other county hospitals. The site will not have an emergency room or the ability to receive new patients.

With the reopening they will join 226 beds to the city's health system.
