Homicide detectives from Los Angeles County Sheriff's DepartmentThey are investigating the facts of a shooting that left one dead Monday night, March 30 during the response of a emergency call in Pomona. The deceased was a hispanic man about 40 years old.
Agents of Pomona Police Department answered the emergency call from a person who had been stabbed to death in block 200 of South Reservoi streetr. The officer involved in the incident searched the place where he had been last seen the suspect and found him but when you tried to stop it, the subject took out a sword and advanced towards the police officer. The agent shot him.
The authorities they recovered a gun at the scene and invite anyone with information about the incident to testify, according to the statement.
